Stettler & District Agricultural Society Recreational Riding Rules

1.) Everyone using the arena must work TOGETHER, to create an efficient and safe environment. 2.) Recreational Riding Only! Meaning no clinics/ classes/ lessons are permitted. (Day rentals are available for those types of arena use.) A special Coach's Corner has been established to address the needs of the youth of our community. 3.) You must Clean up after yourself and your horse! There are garbage cans and wheel barrows and poop forks… Please use them! 4.) The arena will not be locked… Do Not abuse this privilege 5.) Last person in the arena is responsible for turning off all lights and making sure all doors are closed. 6.) Rentals will take precedence over open riding. As well Boarders will have to move stock or horses upon request. 7.) Your membership can be revoked by the board if all rules are not followed, or if you are a disturbance to the premises or fellow riders. 8.) These rules can be amended at any time; proper notice will be given of changes. 9.) Call before you haul, Listen to the answering machine or pay attention to arena schedule on the North West wall of area, for changes to the schedule. Members are responsible for themselves! 10.) After hours / Emergency Contact Number: 403-742-5182 or 403-741-4563 11.) Questions or Suggestions should be promptly brought to the office and explained. As per the SAS By-Laws a concern of 10 members of the Society may be brought to the consideration of all members through a request for a special meeting.
