A throwback to the working horse days. The Farm Team Challenge is a skill-based event that shows what these teams were truly bred and trained to do. Rather than pulling for weight, the focus here is on control, communication and practical farm-style tasks.
Teamsters guide their horse teams through a course that may include tight turns, backing, obstacles and other challenges inspired by real farm work. 
It's a great event for spectators because you can see the partnership up close, the horses listening, the teamster reading every step, and the whole team working together with quiet precision.
