General Show Rules
- All entries must be received by 5:00 PM July 20, 2026
- All entries must be paid prior to judging.
- All entries must include breed, variety and sex.
- Stettler Agricultural Society reserves the right to cancel the show in the event of a poultry disease outbreak such as Avian influenza. In this situation, the Stettler Agricultural Society will make every effort to notify all registered exhibitors.
- All entries must be clean and healthy. The committee reserves the right to reject entries suffering from disease or shown in an unfit condition, and can order the removal of those entries at any time.
- All entries must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor at least 30 days prior to the date of the show.
- No one except the officials of the show will be allowed to handle the exhibit without the permission of the owner. Any exhibitor caught tampering with or in any way injuring exhibits of any competitor will be disqualified.
- The judge shall have power to withhold awards at his/her discretion and will be instructed to the effect that no award is to be given unless the exhibit is worthy. The judge’s decision is final.
- Leg band information is not required for the poultry.
- Substitutions within class are permitted provided the class and section remains the same as the original entry.
- All specimens must be exhibited in their natural condition except for: All Old English Games, Modern Games and American Games Cocks and Cockerels large and bantam must be dubbed. Canada Geese, Mallard Ducks, Wood Duck and Mandarin Ducks can be pinioned.
- The latest revised American Standard of Perfection and American Bantam Standard shall be the guide in all Poultry Entries judged.
Small Flock Poultry Workshop

Location: Stettler Curling Rink, 5111 46 Ave, Stettler, Alberta (Next door to the Stettler Ag Society facility)
Join us for an afternoon workshop on poultry biosecurity, management and disease prevention! We are pleased to be hosting a workshop for those interested in small flock poultry health, management, and biosecurity.
Join us for an opportunity to learn from professionals in small flock management, and network with your peers in the community.
Registration is required for the session. Please complete this survey for each participant attending each session. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while attending. Light snacks will be provided. There are limited seats in this workshop, so please only register if you can attend the session. There will be opportunity to work with your peers and others, so please come prepared to engage and bring an open mind.
